Having a Bad Day?

I woke up today and realized it was “good Friday” and instantly my mind thought “hey, today will hopefully be a ‘good Friday'” but, as the title insinuated it ended up being a rough.. bad.. emotional.. day.

I’m thankfully graduating from Cal Poly in June and one would think that I would be completely excited for this amazing step I have accomplished. However, I think they left out the part that said graduating college was extremely stressful and scary!!!!

I will admit it, I tend to be a pretty stressed out person and I get really caught up in the negative aspect of situations. Let me tell you though, that is going to end quickly! Yes, things will be a bit stressful and scary, they are supposed to be! Life truly wouldn’t be worth living if everything was extremely easy. So I decided to think about stressful events in a new fresh perspective. I will survive.. I have all the other times. I will make it through, and the places where I fail will be places where I learn. We all have so many things to be thankfully for, even when it seems the world is falling. I promise.

So, if you are having a bad day like I was.. think of the positive.. you are loved, funny, you have a purpose and tomorrow can’t be much worse than this!

Smile everybody!!!

About Megan Fitzgerald

This blog started out as a school project and I have been inspired to make it a beauty blog to put myself out there and share my thoughts on things from make-up to life and everything in between. Feel free to leave comments, good and or bad, as I am always looking to improve myself :) A little about me. I am 23 years old and recently graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in June of 2011 with a BA in Psychology. My passion for hair design and make-up artistry has always had a big part in my life. It started as an addiction, really, and now I am hoping to go to school to become licensed. Some may say "what a weird transition.. degree in Psychology to beauty school?" However, I believe people should follow their passion and their dreams, and this is mine! Life is too short to sit behind a desk! I rather be behind the chair or in front of an individual making them feel truly beautiful inside and out. I mean, hey, a lot of hair dressers I meet swear they are therapists as well ;) Here's to passion!
